Shepherds and Soldiers Cont... |
The following poem is something I’ve had for a while.
The Lord would say to His Army that’s encamped round about this place, That the time has come to do battle but you must repent and fall on your face. For each time I’ve sounded the trumpet, and called for the troops to assemble, I find most of you are sick and afraid, and some have even started to tremble. How can I send out this Army, to do battle in Jesus’s name, When the spirits of the troops are broken and weak, and their bodies are sick and lame? My Word is your Sword and your Faith is your Shield, and you can go to any length, For your Faith in Me has healed you, and your Joy in Me is your strength. You are My children for ever more, and to all, My Word you must heed. Stop standing in line for sick call, cause I’ve answered your every need. You need to go forth from this place in My Power, and the Enemy’s deeds you must foil, Because you can do what Jesus did, when He walked upon this soil. The works that He did and greater works, are your responsibility now, For greatly have you been instructed and taught, and I know that by now, you know how. Put your Hands to the task and fight the good fight, and I’ll always be there at your side, And Signs and Wonders will follow you, and all that dwell within it’s Borders. |
